Install

Preparing your home for cabinet installation can make the process smoother and ensure the best results

Here are some tips to help you get ready

1. Clear the Space

  • Remove all items from the area where the cabinets will be installed, including furniture, appliances, and personal items. This will create a clean and accessible workspace for the installation team.

2. Ensure Clear Access

  • Clear pathways to and from the installation area. This includes hallways and doorways. The installation team will need plenty of space to move the cabinetry in and out.

3. Check for Level Surfaces

  • While the installation team will take care of this, it’s helpful to ensure the floors and walls are as level as possible before installation begins. If needed, let the team know if any issues have been noticed.

4. Make Necessary Preparations for Plumbing and Electrical

  • If your cabinetry involves plumbing or electrical work ensure that any connections are in place and that professionals have already handled the necessary adjustments.

5. Be Available for Questions

  • Have someone available to answer any questions the installation team may have about your cabinetry design, hardware placement, or specific preferences.

6. Review the Design

  • Double-check the design and measurements before the team arrives. If you have any last-minute concerns or changes, it’s best to address them ahead of time.

7. Plan for Dust and Noise

  • Cabinet installation involves some noise and will generate dust or debris.  Rest assured, our team always cleans up thoroughly after the installation and strives to leave the space in the best condition possible, even while it's under construction.

8. Finalize the Schedule

  • Confirm the installation date and time with the team, and ensure you know the expected timeline. This will help avoid any confusion on the day of installation.
