Frontier Craftsmen

-Woodworking That Inspires-

In the summer of 2016, Sam and Natalie Kohlhagen embarked on a journey of building a woodworking and construction business. With a shared passion for customer service, creativity, and care of quality, they started frontier craftsmen.

in 2018 they acquired crockett’s cabinetry and woodworking an established cabinetry business to expand frontier craftmen’s product availability and services. following this purchase frontier craftsmen continued to grow and primarily focus on cabinetry and storage solutions.

with the continued growth, Frontier Craftsmen purchased a storage building on two acres just outside Sheboygan Falls in 2021. after two years of planning, focusing on making a great customer experience and ultra-efficient manufacturing process, the new building was renovated and is now the primary location of frontier craftsmen.

in the building process, Some of the building materials were sourced from trees on the property, further showcasing the company’s commitment to minimizing waste and fostering creativity.

A custom-designed metal tree was expertly crafted by billy genett of wCG, one of the skilled team members, showcasing both precision and artistry. The tree is framed by cedar wood, which was found inside the building on the walls, adding a unique touch and highlighting a piece of history.

More pictures and information to come as we are still expanding!

In the summer of 2024, Frontier Craftsmen acquired a CNC machine, enabling them to deliver precise cuts and intricate designs with unmatched accuracy and efficiency. This advanced technology allows them to create virtually any custom cabinet design, bringing even the most imaginative concepts to life. This allows for the expansion of frameless cabinetry, closet solutions, and commerical services.
